Requirements for using spreed

In order to hold spreed conferences, merely an up to date browser with installed Adobe Flash Plugin is needed – besides that, no downloads or software installations are necessary!

To use spreed the following requirements must be met:

A fairly good Internet connection. spreed can be used over analog modem lines and satellite connections. However, a fast Internet connection with 150kBit/s or better is recommended.
Your browser should accept Cookies.
The Adobe Flash Plugin in version 7.0 or higher must be installed. The Plugin can be downloaded from the Adobe website.
In order to send video pictures, a webcam is required.
To transmit voice, a microphone is necessary. The use of a headset is highly recommended.
To hear the conference participants, please use a loudspeaker.
